Prog/Rock/Project
This is a series of compositions that has grown into my head for a year or so.
This Music is written for Guitar (mostly heavy electric) and occasionally Melodica/Accordion
It is composed both on Guitar and on Keyboard and as the Music has been revealed
it has made me understand how much my roots have influenced me.
I am half Romanian and half Austrian and grew up in Sweden during the best and most
possitive openminded period this Country has had so far...the 60`s and the 70`s with itīs
invitation to openess, and as most of you who were there know, with a heavy British/American
Blues/Rock/Pop/Jazz impact on all kids at that time.
Today I can hear those influences mix with my love for Worldmusic, specially Romanian and Eastern Music
In my teens when I went to highschool, in the end od the 60īs, my guitar playing was very
influenced by the talented British bluesrockers that took the Blues/Rock to a more
technically advanced heavy Music. This caught my interest as well as the experimental Jazz at
that time with Young Guitarists like; Larry Corryell and John McLaughlin.
Also my fellow guitarist Jukka Tolonen and fellow guitarist George Wadenius made an impact
on me as teenager. This CD is back to some of my heavy moments filtered through my
experince of 18 years of constant composing I am happy about the result and hope others will enjoy it too
