Max Ahman also plays in the Etno-Fusion Band "Mynta" that has been touring frequently
in the world for the past 15 years, they have visited China, USA,
England, India (the
home-country of their tabla-player, who is also the brother of Zakir
Houssein well known
for his work with J McLaughlins "Shakti") Max has also been a
member of legendary
Uppsala Band "Kaipa" he
did two albums with them, and stayed with the band for two years.
Max and Coste has played together since 1984 and has a large repetoir
together that covers
music for acoustic Guitars (duos) and Electric fusion, Classic
Blues/Rock/Jazz.
Peter Eyre has studied music in several schools in Sweden and spent a couple
of years in
Hollywood at the "Percussion Institute of Technology" were he got his skills together.
When he doesn´t play with Coste he plays with all well known names in
The Swedish Music Scene.
Coste Apetrea and Max Åhman both have special designed double-neck Guitars
with electric bass on the top and Guitar in the bottom, custom made by
well known
Swedish guitar builders Rickard Rolf & Ola Söderström.
They change between bass and guitar on the fly...changing soloist and
bass-player
during songs, it gives a special freedom and opens up for all kinds of
combinations.
Their gig also contains an Acoustic set with only two Acoustic Guitars.
